Born in Los Angeles in 1983 Mindkilla Beats (Lawrence Berment) only spent a short time in the States. Lawrence was raised in Belize City, Belize and lived there until 1998. He then Moved back to the US and attended Los Angeles High School, where he started to persue his musical talents. He now works with local artists In Los Angeles, San Francisco, Oakland.
